Add Facebook Like Box Below Blog Posts

Facebook like box is a very useful plugin for bloggers, it allows users to subscribe to blog posts of your blog and they will get new updates from your blog at their Facebook homepage. In order to use Facebook Like box plugin , you would have to create a fan page for your blog at Facebook.com.

If you don't have already created the Facebook Fan page for your Blog then create a Facebook Fan page.

      How to Add Facebook Like Box under Blogger Posts?

• First and the most important step is to backup your template.
  You can do this going to Blogger > Design > Edit HTML and Download the Template.

• Check the "Expand widget Templates" box.
• Search for this:

   <data:post.body/>
   
   

Just after it paste the following code:

   <iframe allowTransparency='true' frameborder='0' scrolling='no' src='http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpages%2FMy-Blogger-News%2F331051140320675&amp;width=590&amp;colorscheme=light&amp; show_faces=true&amp;stream=false&amp;header=false&amp;height=180' style='border:none; overflow:hidden; width:590px; height:180px;'/>
   </b:if>
   
   

• Now replace the link in Red to your Facebook Fan page URL (without http://)
• In your Page URL replace all back slashes ( / ) with %2F like i did in the code above. This is necessary in this widget.

       Customization:

You can change the width by changing the width value from 590 to any value you like.

• Save your Template and you are done.

Dont forget to Like  MBN On Facebook.
