I started this blog in July 2012. Since then I've come across through plenty of new stuff which i hadn't experienced in the past. I didn't follow a single Blogging rule of thumb, I did exactly the opposite. My opinion was "the only rule in blogging is that there are no rules". Today, I'm gonna write from a different position and having a different school of thought. As a new blogger (from the start) I've been thinking about the ultimate posting frequency that I must follow. Since July (2012) I've tried posting in different variations, once a week , twice a week, sometimes didn't post at all in a whole week. My visitors have been increasing gradually (that's due to my content uniqueness and quality though). In this very month I've tried the most common (I'd rather say most important!) rule of thumb i.e Posting in a high frequency. I've made and started following a schedule (on a daily basis) which I believe is very effective. Looking at the statistics I've figured out that my visitors strength have been doubled. After seeing such effectiveness of this schedule, I thought I'd share it with you, no matter how common it is.The Schedule Includes (5-7 posts weekly):
Yeah I know I've started following the most common (in-fact irritating for most bloggers) rule i.e posting daily. This schedule includes 5-7 posts per week. I try to post daily but if due to any reason I couldn't, I can skip 2 days per week. It's a high frequency but new bloggers can get very beneficial outcomes out of it (for me it did).
New blog has to be fed very rapidly in order to get the search engines and the readers' attention. The only way it can be done it to post based on a schedule and to have unique content (I'll discuss the latter in the coming post, subscribe now!). That's the reason behind the effectiveness of this schedule.

As posting on a daily basis requires lots of time, efforts and an idea to write on. I do the following things for generating an idea and making posts:
Brain Storming Session:
As I'm a student and I go to university every single day, it's approx one hour drive away from my home. I put my headphones on, while listening to music, I start thinking about my blog and try to hatch an idea to write on. As my blog is mainly based on blogger widgets and tips. So I kinda design the looks of a widget in my mind and knock it off later (It takes more time and energy due to the coding and all that stuff).
Note the Key Points of the Idea you get:
If the post I've planned is a mainly hypothetical (like this one) then I note all the key points in my iPhone that I'm gonna talk about. When i get back home I elaborate it based on facts and save a full fledged post in my draft.
Publish it!
I post the finished post (in my draft) on the next day, may be in morning or afternoon. I mean it's wise to plan for tomorrow.
It's only the beginning of me following this schedule. So far it has been worthy, I'll let you know about it in future.
I'll be posting soon on the "Importance of the Blogging Schedule", Stay tuned!
