Changing Blogger Favicon is more simple now, you can change it without editing or changing any code in your template. The new blogger Layout allows you to add your own custom favicon in a few clicks.Not sure what favicon is?

Simple Tutorial: How to add Favicon to Blogger
Follow these simple steps in order to add a custom favicon to blogger.
- Log on to Your Blogger Dashboard -> Design -> Layout.
- Click on the edit link as shown in image below.
- Click on the choose favicon link and browse your favicon image on your PC and add.
- Save the changes and you are done!
You don't have to resize the favicon image, Blogger would automatically resize it for you. But the image should be less than 100Kb.
Secondly if after changing the favicon, you do not see the favicon appearing then just clear your browser cache, and reload your blog once or twice. It should work then.
